Columbine survivor Austin Eubanks overcomes opioid addiction

This is a really moving video story about Austin Eubanks, who was shot in the Columbine library and watched his best friend Corey DePooter killed right in front of him.

God, it's hard to even type those words. What came after is nearly worse. Double-victim.

I made the rough choice to focus on just a handful of victims in my book, so the reader could follow their story and get to know them. Unfortunately, Austin was not one of them. So I have never met him.
